Innovation Lab #55: - Share your ideas with us in #InnovationLab!

Hello Members!

Our community is a great place to discover new and innovative ideas for our devices and services.

Innovation lab is a simple way for you to share your ideas directly with our teams.

In this week of #Innovationlab, we are requesting you to share your ideas for the following two topics:

1. Weather app and widget: Feedback on experiences with weather app(widget) and suggestions.

2. Secure Folder: Feedback on experiences with features and suggestions.

As a Galaxy user, feel free to suggest any improvement, new feature or make a request which you feel will help us improve the above-mentioned apps/features.

All you need to do is:

1. Create a post detailing your idea / suggestion
2. include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
3. Include #InnovationLab in your post title

We will go through all your suggestions to bring significant improvements. This topic will be open till 4th August.

Security folder should be a seprate entity and have capability to sync with any cloud separately.

Overall everything is great,
My suggestions for both of them
Weather app(widget): would be nice if it showed red, orange and other alerts by indian meteorological department.

Secure folder: after opening the secure folder, i can still see the contents on recent screen, would be nice if it is not visible. Another thing, there should be an option/button to enter secure folder directly from samsung gallery app, would be awesome.

Besides, i think everything is great

Please introduce DC dimming or increase high pwm frequency amoeld screens and also check your screen weather they cause temporal dithering too ,millions of people getting affected due to amoeld screens

Previously there was a small refresh button in the weather widget itself which is gone now. It was very useful to update weather without opening weather widget.

I would suggest them when raining, keep weather app background as raining so that even if in hurry the user sees rain background. He gets to know it would rain heavily. The same should be For a sunny, windy day.

Secure Folder :- Secure folder is really secure…?
Because when we create secure folder it creates like a separate phone inside but it includes all data collecting services like Meta Services or other Intelligence services this not right because I disable them in normal mode but in secure folder its collected secure folder data this is very wrong then how it's secure no doubt it's secure form outside attack but it should be secure in this way also

And not even only this all apps moves out in secure folder and those are run two time every apps and services run two time one is in normal mode and one is in Secure folder, we check it out from Device and care then memory option, which drain battery and cause of heating

Secure folder should be like this a empty folder only no apps and services need to moved in secure folder only those apps and services need be in secure folder which is added manually by us other than no apps and services need moved in secure folder.

If any apps and services necessary to run secure folder then it's will be added but not all apps and services required to run security folder which couldn't be added in secure folder.
