Stop Getting fool by Samsung

[shashiydv]

Friends, I want to warn you against buying Samsung M-series mobile phones. I feel scammed after purchasing the Samsung M16 in Nepal for 28,000 NPR. Although the seller marketed it as a midrange device, it lacks basic features like a native screen recorder.

Furthermore, I was misled by Samsung’s advertisements, which claimed the M16 ships with Android 15. In reality, my device arrived with Android 14. I only discovered this after checking the official Samsung firmware version. The seller eventually updated it to Android 15 without my permission, but the initial experience felt like a bait-and-switch. Please be careful before buying these models

The M16 launched with Android 14 and will get 6 years of Android updates, so maybe Android 20 and OneUI 12 if the naming scheme stays the same.

I own S series, earlier owned M series and A series and I still feel cheated sometimes.

Why?
Specifications not worth the price.

Service centers lack basic professionalism in terms of equipments or skill. They just want to replace everything and not repair anything.

I choose Samsung and BJP for the same reason: I can't find any better alternative in the market, if there was any, I would have switched immediately.

Screen recorder, automatic call recorder, options to disable camera shutter sound are illegal in some countries due to local law. These feature are available based on the markets the devices being sold. There were so many scams involving these features through malware apps.
