QuestionsDear Samsung Support Team,
I am currently using the Galaxy S26 Ultra on the Beta software, and I am facing a critical network-related issue that is affecting basic phone functionality.
The issue is as follows:
- After some time, my phone becomes unreachable to other people. When someone tries to call me, the call does not reach my phone.
- The mobile network appears to be connected and internet/data continues to work, but incoming/outgoing calls and SMS get stuck.
- The phone essentially goes into a state where the network appears active for data but calling and SMS services become unresponsive.
- The only temporary workaround is to turn Airplane Mode ON and then OFF.
- After toggling Airplane Mode, calling and SMS start working again, but only for approximately 1 hour, after which the same issue returns.
- This keeps repeating and requires me to manually toggle Airplane Mode to restore calling functionality.
This is a serious issue, because a phone being unreachable for calls and SMS without any obvious network-disconnection indication can result in missed calls, OTPs, and other important communications.
Please investigate this as a Beta software/network stack issue, particularly the handling of the modem/IMS/VoLTE services while the device is in this state.
I request Samsung to:
- Investigate and identify the root cause.
- Provide a software update/fix at the earliest.
- Confirm whether this is a known issue in the current Beta build.
- Advise whether any diagnostic logs or bug reports are required from my device.
Device: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Software: Beta version
Issue: Mobile data works, but calls and SMS become completely stuck; Airplane Mode toggle temporarily restores functionality.
This issue is significantly affecting the core functionality of the device, so I request that it be treated as a high-priority Beta bug.
Regards,
Surya Agarwal
