As a Galaxy S24 Ultra user, I find it hard to understand why One Ul 8.5 still lacks a simple built-in option to completely block internet access for individual apps.
This is not an advanced feature. It is a basic privacy and control feature that many Android users have wanted for years. Restricting background data is not the same thing. Deep sleeping apps is not the same thing. Users should be able to say: "This app gets no internet access at ll."
It is disappointing that some competitors have offered this capability for years which comes under low budget section, while Samsung users still need third-party firewall apps to achieve something so fundamental
Samsung builds some of the most expensive and capable Android phones in the world. Users should not have to install additional software just to block an app from using Wi-Fi or mobile data I hope Samsung listens to its community and finally introduces true per-app internet controls in One UI
