USB connection problem

My phone is connected to USB cable but it doesn't work but there is nothing wrong with both the phone and the cable and the phone is less then 5 months has this happened to anyone before and how do I need to return it?

What phone are you using and is that the cable that came with the phone?

I am using A24 and yes the cable came with the power I have had the phone for about 4 months

what is the error showing when you connect? Even when you select the transfer data option its still not working ?

Same thing happened with my charging cable (the one that came with the phone). It stopped working after literally 3 months. I use the samsung galaxy A33 btw
